Mindful Eating Worksheet
As Thanksgiving approaches this week for those of us in the states, many people begin to feel a little anxious about the food overload they're about to experience.
Or maybe you're stuck in a cycle of poor habits surrounding your food choices in general.
Either way, I encourage you to slow down, pause and identify habits and behaviors that are causing feelings of anxiety or overwhelm. Take control of your choices rather than allowing your habits to control you.
For Thanksgiving this year, or from now until the end of the year, let's practice some mindful eating.
Where are you eating? What are you eating? Are you eating because you're hungry or are you just bored? Are you chewing thoroughly? Do you even remember eating? Did you somehow just end up in the pantry?
Identify your actions and ask yourself, "is there anything I can change with my eating that'll allow me to feel better?"

Thanksgiving doesn't have to feel restricted and doesn't have to be super healthy. Whatever you decide to eat, do it with awareness, make it a conscious choice, and don't just be on autopilot eating until you feel like you're going to explode. That alone makes all the difference in the world, allowing you to feel empowered by your food choices rather than a victim of unconscious eating 🧡
HAPPY TURKEY DAY (almost).
