ProLon "Fast Mimicking" Diet & Blood Sugar Control Guide

Oh that time of year when cravings are up, sweets are around, schedules are wonky and temptation is high.

With Thanksgiving happening tomorrow, I'm all about eliminating any and all guilt that may arise around food choices (always, but especially) on special occasions. We eat healthy most of the time so that the special days can be enjoyed with friends and family, and what better way to do that than through food (I don't know about you but I'm a major foodie.)

Enjoy the goodies, then the key is to get yourself right back on track the next day!

Thanksgiving can very easily carry through until Christmas, into NYE and then before we know it we've been eating too much of the wrong foods for months.

So I challenge you to hop back on board as soon as Friday hits!

   

Now onto this week's topic: blood sugar & the ProLon "fast mimicking" diet.

I've done this fast once before and it felt like a great reset to my system. I love fasting in general, done for the right reasons (not to lose weight or for body image) and not too extensively (once or twice a year for a more intense fast), but this one in particular is meant to help reset your blood sugar levels, improve your gut health, and help prevent cravings moving forward.

You still eat a little, but the calories are low and the ingredients and proportions are intentional.
